Biography
Maxime, better known as Bouingy, is a talented 18-year-old musician from Chelles, France who has released a couple of songs independently, as well as have released a song titled “White Water” on TSG Music. Although he didn’t develop an interest in music until he was 16, Bouingy has quickly become a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. He first discovered his love for music when a friend of his brother came over to their house with a guitar. After trying his hand at playing the instrument, Bouingy fell in love with it and asked for a guitar for his birthday. He later received a midi/synth keyboard for Christmas, which he used to start composing music on FL Studio.
Bouingy’s passion for music led him to enroll in a music school, where he began taking guitar lessons. The teachers at the school were exceptional, and Bouingy quickly bonded with his fellow students. As he continued to study music, Bouingy discovered that he was synesthetic in two different domains. He sees music in color in his mind, and he also sees shapes moving in time with the music. These colors and shapes are influenced by various factors, including the style of music, the mood, the instruments used, and the percussions.
Bouingy’s musical style is a mix of different genres, ranging from metal to lo-fi. He describes his music as “chill but also what makes you move,” and he draws inspiration from various artists and genres. His love for synthwave, for instance, was influenced by Kavinsky and Carpenter Brut, while his dance music was initially inspired by David Guetta, Avicci, and Kygo. Currently, Bouingy is inspired by the melodic house and organic house genres, which he believes have unique and interesting sounds.
Although Bouingy has yet to be featured in any articles, his music speaks for itself. He is currently working on several collaborations that he hopes will further establish his presence in the music industry. With his unique approach to music creation and his dedication to his craft, Bouingy’s future is looking bright. Fans of his music can expect big things from him in the years to come.
