Spotify Specs
Spotify receives music through a distributor, so most requirements are enforced by your distributor using Spotify's delivery spec. These are the values that matter when you prepare a release.

Worth knowing
- Canvas is uploaded per track in Spotify for Artists, not through your distributor.
- Playlist pitching happens in Spotify for Artists and requires the release to be delivered at least 7 days ahead - 4 weeks is safer.
