What the Cover Art Checker measures
Album cover size matters before delivery. A cover can look right at a glance but still fail a distributor's technical checks. This tool reads the image on your device and reports its pixel dimensions, whether it is exactly square, its file format and its size. It also compares the dimensions against the 1400-pixel baseline and a 3000-pixel target.
Technical checks are not a store approval. This tool cannot read text inside the artwork, spot logos, judge image quality, detect upscaling or guarantee acceptance by a particular distributor. Always check the current specifications and content rules of the distributor you actually use.

What size should music cover art be?
A square 3000 × 3000 pixel image is a common delivery target. Requirements vary by distributor and platform, so check the current specification for your release.
Can I use a 1400 × 1400 image?
The checker reports whether it meets a 1400-pixel baseline, but also shows if it misses the 3000-pixel target. Your distributor may require a larger file.
Does this check text and logos in my cover?
No. It checks measurable file properties only. You still need to review artwork content and your distributor's rules yourself.
Does a green result guarantee acceptance?
No. It means these technical checks passed; a distributor or store may have additional requirements or reject content for other reasons.
Is my artwork uploaded?
No. The image is read in your browser and is not sent to our servers.
