Beatport Loudness Explained
Beatport does not normalise loudness.
Beatport and the other DJ stores do not normalise anything, because they are not streaming platforms - DJs buy and download your actual master file to play in their sets.
That makes Beatport the purest delivery there is: the file you upload to your distributor is the file a DJ plays on a club system. Loudness, dynamics and true peak all arrive exactly as you made them.
Club music tradition pushes masters loud, and on Beatport that loudness survives. But keep true peak under -1 dBTP - club sound systems and DJ software limiters are unforgiving about clipped peaks. Check your master below.

Does Beatport change my audio?
No - DJs download the master file you delivered. Beatport sells WAV, AIFF and MP3 320 versions made from it.
How loud should a club master be?
Club masters often sit between -9 and -6 LUFS. That works on Beatport because nothing is normalised - but the same file will be turned down heavily on streaming.
Should I deliver a different master to Beatport?
Some labels deliver a louder club master to DJ stores and a more dynamic one to streaming. Most deliver one master and accept the trade-off.
